Any enthusiasts out there in Rock Hill, Charlotte or Gastonia looking forward to the upcoming 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon? Our team here at Honda Cars of Rock Hill sure is. And while the overseas event isn't quite as close to home as its U.S.-based aftermarket show counterpart (SEMA), Honda fans across the globe are in for a real treat.
Company officials have decided to slip details for the event's offerings ahead of time and we've gathered up all the most interesting news. For starters, Honda will unveil the Mugen CR-V Design Study concept. Elusive until now, the attractive model comes with a satisfying new styling package created by the aftermarket experts at the brand's tuning source, Mugen.
Additional models in the lineup include the highly-anticipated and ultra-exclusive Honda CR-Z Mugen RZ. Set at a 300-vehicle production limit, the sporty auto will be limited in nature and feature extra power. Brand enthusiasts will also be interested to know that a Mugen Honda N-One, Mugen Honda CR-Z GT, and an S2000 Modulo Climax are also on the docket.
As for that last amped-up machine, we can tell you that the sporty roadster takes cues from the original S2000 but adds in fresh exterior features including a new front clip, longer nose, and a hexagonal grille.
With the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon just around the corner, be sure to stay tuned. Our team will have all the exciting details surrounding the most intriguing new Honda vehicles on display.
