Imagine this: a race car with the Civic's DNA, slenderized into coupe form with a beasting 276 horsepower delivered to the front wheels. If your first thought was "hot hatch," you're right, and that's just what the Honda Civic Type R is. What's better still, is we've finally gotten our first look at it in production form.
What's really cool? It looks just like the prototype we saw in Geneva in March. Everything from the snazzy rear spoiler and front end remain, and we bet the beasting horsepower has been preserved as well. While a petition exists to bring it to North America, we've heard nothing as of yet about the chances of it.
