The 2017 Honda Ridgeline, recently named by NACTOY as the North American Truck of the Year, is the only pickup truck in the America that has received safety ratings from both the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the U.S. government. The 2017 Honda Ridgeline earned a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) 5-Star Overall Vehicle Rating1.

The Ridgeline achieved the 5-star Overall Vehicle Rating by scoring a rating of five stars in the frontal crash tests for driver and passengers, five stars for side crash tests for both front and rear seats and four stars for the rollover tests.

Each and every 2017 Honda model is equipped with a standard multi-angle rearview camera as well as such standard safety features as Advance Compatibility Engineering body structure, an anti-lock braking system and Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control.
