There are multiple levels to Honda Certification depending on the vehicle's age and mileage. Honda Certified+ is the upper level, only including 2022 and 2023 Honda models with fewer than 12,000 miles on them. These models offer seven-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Coverage and 5-year/86,000-mile Non-Powertrain Coverage.
Honda TrueCertified vehicles must be between the 2018 and 2023 model years with no more than 80,000 miles. They have the same Powertrain Coverage but different Non-Powertrain Coverage. If the New Vehicle Limited Warranty still applies to the vehicle, it is extended to a 4-year/48,000-mile plan. Vehicles with an expired New Vehicle Limited Warranty have 1-year/12,000-mile Non-Powertrain Coverage starting at their delivery date.
