In light of conversations about the environment, more drivers are turning to green car alternatives. Fortunately, the Honda Motor Company is ahead of the game and already has three excellent options within its current collection. Below, we take a look at these vehicles and how they function to facilitate greater sustainability.

Building a car is a resource intensive process. It's a shame, in turn, when a car's life comes to an end and those resources go to waste.

That's why Honda has been striving for years to make sure its cars are as recyclable as possible. Establishing its own high standard, Honda has been working to ensure that 90 of the materials used in the construction of its cars can be recovered at the end of their life cycle. It's been meeting and exceeding this standard since 2004.

In what some are calling "ambitious", Honda CEO Takahiro Hachigo has set eyes on the hybrid market, pledging to create more and better green vehicles for an already-efficient lineup of sedans and crossovers.
